solvent-grade mixed xylene $56/mt lower week over week at $975/mt FOB Korea May 22, unchanged from intraday levels. No bids and offers were heard during the Market on Close assessment process. CFR Southeast Asia at $1,075/mt, down $56/ mt week over week, with the spread to the FOB Korea marker unchanged at $100/mt. There were no recent offers for solvent-MX, a Southeast Asiabased buyer said. The CFR Southeast Asia marker was assessed down $96/mt week over week at $1,050/mt on May 22. Crude oil futures climbed in midafternoon Asian trading May 22, with analysts attributing the gains to unresolved issues in USIran peace negotiations and supply disruptions through the Strait of Hormuz.
