India Solvent MX: Prices fall amid low buying interest, slow demand / July ICE Brent futures contract at $105.33 / Domestic solvent MX offers at Rupees 108-110/kg - FOB Korea at $975/mt

The Indian Solvent MX market fell on May 22, amid slow buying interest and weak market fundamentals. The CFR India Solvent MX cash differential was assessed at FOB Korea plus $104/mt, down $1/mt week over week on May 22, above buying ideas heard in the range FOB Korea plus $90-$95/ mt L/C 90 days. Solvent MX CFR India down $57/mt and FOB Korea also down $56/mt week over week at $1,079/mt and $975/ mt FOB Korea, respectively, amid a weaker South Korean market. Dollar-denominated trading remained thin today, with no offers heard during the Market on Close assessment process and buying levels received from Indian buyers at FOB Korea plus $90-$95/mt range as they remained on the sidelines amid weak market sentiment.
