Zhejiang Petroleum halts production at No.1 SM plant

Zhejiang Petroleum & Chemical (ZPC) has taken off stream its No.1 Styrene monomer (SM) plant. A source in China informed a team member, “The company is heard to have halted operations at the plant around September 15, 2025 for maintenance. The duration of the shutdown remains uncertain, as no official statement has been released by the concerned authority.” Located in Zhejiang, China, the No.1 plant has a production capacity of 600,000 mt/year.
