Asian methyl methacrylate: Prices firm on lower supply / MMA prices edge up / PMMA prices gain slightly

Asian methyl methacrylate prices up by $20/ mt week over week at $1,795/mt FOB China and $1,940/mt CFR Southeast Asia Nov. 3. Domestic Chinese prices were stable week over week, however, export prices are moving up, multiple Asia-based trade sources said. For November- loading MMA, offers for Chinese MMA were heard at around $1,800-$1,860/mt, a Singapore- based trader said. "We have been hearing these numbers," a second trader in Singapore said. The second trader also said that as freight costs are high, delivered MMA prices to Southeast Asia are also moving higher toward $1,950/mt CFR Southeast Asia.
