Yulong Petrochemical increases run rates at new MEG unit

Yulong Petrochemical has raised run rates at its new Monoethylene glycol (MEG) unit in Longkou. A source in China informed a team member, “Run rates at the unit were ramped up to around 70% of production capacity following its startup in the first half of September 2025, although no official confirmation from the concerned authority was available.” Located in Longkou, Shandong in China, the unit has a production capacity of 1 million mt/year.
