Xinjiang Tianye resumes production at No.3 MEG unit

Xinjiang Tianye has brought on stream its No.3 Monoethylene glycol (MEG) unit in Shihezi. A source in China informed a team member, “The company is heard to have resumed operations at the unit in mid-September 2025, following a maintenance shutdown that began in early September 2025. However, no official confirmation has been obtained.” Located in Shihezi, Xinjiang in China, the No. 3 unit has a production capacity of 600,000 mt/year.
