Wanhua Petrochemical undertakes planned maintenance at HDPE unit

Wanhua Petrochemical has taken off stream its High density polyethylene (HDPE) unit. A source in China informed a team member, “The company halted operations at the unit in mid-September 2025 for maintenance. The unit is expected to remain offline until the end of the year. Independent verification of this information could not be obtained.” Located in Shandong province, China, the HDPE unit has a production capacity of 350,000 mt/year.
