South Asian polypropylene prices rose in the week to Sept. 23, led by higher sell-side discussions and a tight inventory situation among producers in India, the region's largest consumer of the material by volume, which also aided price discussions, market participants said. PP raffia/injection grade up $10/metric ton week over week at $1,370/mt CFR South Asia on Sept. 23, in line with a deal heard and corroborated at the same level, below the lowest offer heard and corroborated at $1,380/mt CFR South Asia, above the highest bid at $1,320/mt and within tradable indications heard at $1,360-$1,380/mt CFR South Asia.
