Sinopec Mitsui Chemicals resumes production at BPA plant

Sinopec Mitsui Chemicals has restarted its Bisphenol A (BPA) plant in Caojing. A source in China informed a team member, “The company is heard to have resumed operations at the plant on September 23, 2025, following a maintenance shutdown that began on September 9, 2025. An official statement from the concerned authority has not been released.” Located in Caojing, Shanghai in China, the BPA plant has a production capacity of 120,000 mt/year.
