Sinopec Hunan resumes production at ECH units

Sinopec Hunan Petrochemical has restarted its Epichlorohydrin (ECH) units. A source in China informed a team member, “The company is heard to have restarted its units in early September 2025, following a maintenance shutdown that began in mid-August 2025. An official confirmation could not be obtained.” Located in Yueyang, Hunan in China, the units have individual production capacities of 32,000 mt/year and 50,000 mt/year.
