Inner Mongolia Shuangxin Chemical taken off stream its Vinyl acetate monomer (VAM) plant in Erdos. A source in China informed that, “The company is heard to have commenced maintenance activities at the plant in the first half of September 2025. However, details regarding the duration of the shutdown remain unclear, as no official statement has been released by the concerned authority.” Located at Ordos, Inner Mongolia, China, the plant has a production capacity of 290,000 mt/year.
