Shandong Jinghai Petrochemical is likely to bring on stream its High-density polyethylene (HDPE) plant. A source in China informed a team member, “The company is expected to resume operations at the plant by the end of September 2025, following a turnaround. The plant was shut down for maintenance in end July 2025, though no confirmation has been provided by any recognized authority.” Located in Shandong, China, the plant has a production capacity of 400,000 mt/year.
