The South Asian polyethylene market was largely stable in the week to Aug. 13 as import prices remained unchanged amid fewer offers from the Middle East region and rangebound trade discussions. Sources shared mixed views on market fundamentals. However, most trade participants indicated stable demand supply conditions compared to the previous week. Some domestic producers were heard offering schemes and discounts for PE grades.
