Plastipak is operating its Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) plant at curtailed capacity levels. A source in Italy informed a team member, "The company has been operating the plant at reduced rates since September 2025. The reason for the production cut remains unclear, as confirmation from an official source has not been forthcoming." Located at Verbania, Italy, the plant has a production capacity of 160,000 mt/year.
