PetroChina Fushun takes LLDPE/HDPE unit off stream

PetroChina Fushun Petrochemical has shut down its Linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE)/High density polyethylene (HDPE) unit. A source in China informed a team member, “The company has halted operations at the unit in early September 2025 for maintenance. The unit is expected to remain offline for about 7 weeks. However, official confirmation has not been obtained.” Located in Fushun, China, the unit has a production capacity of 350,000 mt/year.
