Lotte GS Chemical resumes production at solvents plant

Lotte GS Chemical has brought on stream its solvents plant in Yeosu. A source in South Korea informed a team member, “The company is heard to have resumed operations at the plant around September 11, 2025 following a turnaround. The unit was shut for maintenance in end August 2025. However, this information could not be independently confirmed with an official source.” Located in Yeosu, South Korea, the solvents plant has a phenol production capacity of 350,000 mt/year and acetone capacity of 215,000 mt/year.
