Lianyungang Petrochemical to resume production at MEG unit

Lianyungang Petrochemical is likely to restart its Monoethylene glycol (MEG) unit. A source in China informed a team member, “The company plans to resume operations at the unit by the end of September 2025. The plant had been taken offline around May 31, 2025. However, no official confirmation was available at the time of reporting.” Located in Xuwei, China, the MEG unit has a production capacity of 910,000 mt/year.
