Kingboard Chemical has restarted its No.1 acetic acid plant in Xingtai. A source in China informed a team member, "The company is heard to have resumed operations at its plant in mid-September 2025, following a maintenance shutdown that began around September 4, 2025. Attempts to obtain confirmation from an authorized source were unsuccessful." Located in Xingtai, Hebei in China, the No.1 acetic acid plant has a production capacity of 600,000 mt/year.
