Kimiaye Pars operates methanol plant at lower rates

Kimiaye Pars Company is presently running its methanol plant at curtailed capacity levels. A source in Iran informed a team member, “The company is reportedly operating its plant at around 50% of production capacity. The reason for the reduced output remains unclear, as no official statement has been issued by the concerned authorities.” Located in Asaluyeh, Iran, the plant has a production capacity of 1.65 million mt/year.
