Jinneng Chemical to bring No.1 PP unit on stream

Jinneng Chemical is in plans to restart its No.1 Polypropylene (PP) unit. A source in China informed a team member, “The company is expected to resume operations at the unit on September 20, 2025, following a maintenance shutdown that began on August 20, 2025. However, no confirmation has been obtained from an authorized representative.” Located in Qingdao City, Shandong province of China, the unit has a production capacity of 450,000 mt/year.
