CFR India PVC suspension grade at $895 metric ton on Sept. 22, down $10/mt week over week amid a drop in domestic open market prices due to higher inventories and lower freight. It was heard that almost 25,000 mt of inventory stuck at ports due to the minimum import parity price imposition had been cleared in the last two days, causing a drop in the domestic open market prices, several market players said. Additionally, lower freight rates from China were further adding pressure on the prices, market players said.
