Hyosung Vina eyes maintenance at No. 1 PP unit

Hyosung Vina Chemicals is likely to shut down its No.1 Polypropylene (PP) unit in Cai Mep. A source in Vietnam informed a team member, “The company is likely to shut the unit by the end of October 2025 for maintenance. The unit is expected to remain off line until early December 2025. An official statement from the concerned authority has not yet been released.” Located in Cai Mep, Vietnam, the No.1 unit has production capacity of 300,000 mt/year.
