Hengli Petrochemical has undertaken a planned shutdown at its No.2 Polypropylene (PP) unit in Changxing Island. A source in China informed a team member, “The company is heard to have shut down the unit on September 12, 2025 for maintenance. Details regarding the duration of the shutdown remain unclear, and verification from an authorized source was not available.” Located in Changxing Island, China, the No.2 unit has a production capacity of 200,000 mt/year.
