Guangxi Huayi Energy takes acetic acid plant off stream

Guangxi Huayi Energy Chemical has shut down its acetic acid plant in Qinzhou. A source in China informed a team member, “The company shut down the plant on September 17, 2025 for maintenance, and it is expected to remain offline for around 10 days. Official confirmation of the development was not available.” Located in Qinzhou, Guangxi in China, the plant has a production capacity of 700,000 mt/year.
