Glacial acrylic acid ex-works North and East China, which was unchanged day over day and Yuan 300/mt lower week over week, at Yuan 6,450/mt on Aug. 12. However, despite the day's stable spot price, the overall outlook for GAA spot demand continues to look bleak, a producer in China said. Spot prices have consistently moved lower over the past week, with any turnaround in prices looking increasingly unlikely. "Demand is not as good as usual," the producer said, though he could not confirm if there would be any efforts to reduce supplies in the near term.
