ENEOS Corporation is likely to take off stream its Paraxylene (PX) unit in Mizushima. A source in Japan informed a team member, “The company is expected to shut the unit for a maintenance shutdown in the second half of September 2025. However, the exact date of the shutdown has not been determined, and confirmation from an authorized source is still pending.” Located in Mizushima, Japan, the PX unit has a production capacity of 430,000 mt/year.
