Yanlian Petrochemical takes No.2 PP unit off stream

Yanlian Petrochemical Company has shut down its No.2 polypropylene (PP) unit. A source in China informed a team member, “The company is heard to have halted operations at the unit around September 16, 2025 for maintenance. The duration of the shutdown remains unclear, and no confirmation has been obtained from an authorized representative.” Located in Yan’an, China, the No.2 unit has production capacity of 200,000 mt/year.
