Covestro lifts FM on polyether polyols supplies from Dormagen unit

Covestro has lifted the force majeure (FM) on supplies of Polyether polyol from its unit located at Dormagen. A source in Germany informed a team member, “The company lifted the FM in mid-August 2025. The FM was declared on July 16, 2025 owing to fire.” Located in Dormagen, Germany, the plant has a production capacity of 250,000 mt/year.
