Asian nylon-6 closed weaker in the week ended Nov. 4, as lower crude prices and market uncertainties surrounding the US midterm elections weighed on prices. FOB China nylon-6 resin prices for bright and semi-dull grades at $1,910/metric ton Nov. 4, down $40/mt week over week, below offers heard at $1,930/mt. The assessment also took into consideration lower domestic East China prices. Similarly, the full-dull variant was assessed at $1,960/mt Nov. 4, down $40/mt week over week, tracking the decline in bright and semi-dull grade prices.
