Asian MTBE FOB Singapore was down $5.53/metric ton day over day at $1,151.87/mt on Sept. 25, with a cash differential to FOB Singapore 92 RON gasoline Mean of Singapore Strip (15-40 days) at plus $8.50/barrel. The cash differential was assessed up 50 cents/b day over day, considering tradable indications heard at $10/b for the MTBE differential to Singapore 92 RON gasoline October swaps. Crude oil futures fell in midafternoon trading in Asia on Sept. 25 as renewed US-Iran diplomatic talks raised prospects for a phased reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. At 2:53 pm Singapore time (0653 GMT), the ICE November Brent futures contract fell $1.02/b (0.96%) from the previous close to $105.58/b, while the NYMEX November light sweet crude contract fell $1.64/b (1.73%) from the previous close to $92.97/b....
