The Asian isomer-MX market inched down $9/metric ton FOB Korea Sept. 25, following lower naphtha prices. Asian isomer-MX prices down $9/mt day over day at $,/mt FOB Korea on Sept. 25. The isomer-MX CFR Taiwan and CFR China markers closed at $1,195.50/mt and $1,177.50/mt, maintaining the spread with FOB Korea to $32/mt and $14/mt, respectively. In the upstream markets, crude oil futures fell during Asian afternoon trading Sept. 25 as renewed US-Iran diplomatic talks raised prospects for a phased reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. At 2:53 pm Singapore time (0653 GMT), the ICE November Brent futures contract fell $1.02/b (0.96%) from the previous close to $105.58/b, while the NYMEX November light sweet crude contract fell $1.64/b (1.73%) from the previous close to $92.97/b.
