The conventional slabstock polyols FOB China weekly marker down $60/metric ton week over week at $1,750/ mt on Sept. 25, reflecting tradable indications heard at $1,750/mt FOB China and lower propylene oxide domestic feedstock costs. Domestic costs for propylene oxide feedstock had dropped by about 1,465 yuan/mt week over week from Sept. 18, $192/mt on an export parity basis. upstream propylene CFR China $25/mt lower over the same period, closing at $1,225/mt on Sept. 25 Conventional slabstock polyols prices were heard at $1,800/ mt CFR SEA from a regional buyer, while CFR India tradable indications were floated around the $1,850-$1,900/mt level for China-origin cargoes excluding import duties. Buying interest from Southeast Asian buyers remained subdued due to higher feedstock costs, although the situation could change if propylene oxide prices fall...
