Asia Polymer Corp to continue with lower run rates at EVA plant

Asia Polymer Corp (APC) will be running its Ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) plant at curtailed operational levels. A source in Taiwan informed a team member, “The company is expected to keep the unit offline for an unspecified period due to poor market conditions. The unit was shut down at the end of July 2025 for a maintenance turnaround. An official statement from the concerned authority was not available.” Located in Linyuan, Kaohsiung in Taiwan, the plant has a production capacity of 100,000 mt/year.
