AGC Vinythai to halt production at ECH plant

AGC Vinythai is in plans to take off stream its epichlorohydrin (ECH) plant in Map Ta Phut. A source in Thailand informed a team member, “The company is expected to halt operations at the plant around November 1, 2025 for maintenance. However, the duration of the shutdown remains unclear, and no official confirmation has been received from authorized sources.” Located in Map Ta Phut, Thailand, the ECH plant has production capacity of 120,000 mt/year.
