The Asia-Pacific regional complex July 15 saw a spike in arbitrage crude trading activity overnight, along with initial condensate movements. In the regional condensate complex, Japan’s Inpex was heard to have offered its Australia’s Ichthys Field condensate cargo scheduled to load over end-August to early September, several trade sources said, though further details could not be confirmed. In the delivered crude complex, Asian refiners were heard to have purchased about 9 million barrels of WTI Midland scheduled for October arrival, amid fresh arbitrage opportunities overnight.
