ZRCC likely to start maintenance at No.1 SM plant

ZRCC Lyondell Chemical is in plans to take off stream its No.1 Styrene monomer (SM) plant. A source in China informed a team member, “The company is expected to shut the plant for maintenance around September 25, 2025. Details regarding the duration of the shutdown remain unclear, and confirmation from an authorized source has not been obtained.” Located in Zhejiang, China, the No.1 SM plant has a production capacity of 620,000 mt/year.
