ZRCC halts production at No.4 PP unit

Sinopec Zhenhai Refining and Chemical (ZRCC) has shut down its No.4 Polypropylene (PP) unit. A source in China informed a team member, “The company is heard to have halted operations at the unit around September 24, 2025 for maintenance. Details regarding the duration of the shutdown remain unclear, and an authorized source was unavailable for confirmation.” Located in Zhenhai, China, the No.4 PP unit has a production capacity of 300,000 mt/year.
