Indian acetic acid fell in the week to Oct. 29 amid lower offers and limited buying interest from Indian buyers. Offers for November-arrival acetic acid cargoes were heard lower week over week at $620-$630/mt CFR India on Oct. 29. Trade discussions remained thin as buyers slowed purchases amid easing domestic prices and additional cargo arrivals. “We are not offering this week, inventory for acetic acid is tight, we are hearing $620-$630/mt CFR India offers from China,” said a Southeast Asia-based seller. “Buyers are hesitating in buying new cargoes amid good inventory levels”, said a China-based seller.
