Zhejiang Petroleum & Chemical completes maintenance at No.2 solvents plant

Zhejiang Petroleum & Chemical (ZPC) has restarted its No.2 phenol/acetone plant following a turnaround. A source in China informed a team member, "The company is heard to have resumed operations at the plant around mid-November 2025. The plant was shut for maintenance in early November 2025." Located in Zhoushan, Zhejiang in China, the No.2 plant has a phenol production capacity of 400,000 mt/year and acetone production capacity of 250,000 mt/year.
