Zhejiang Wankai resumes production at PET unit

Zhejiang Wankai New Materials has restarted its Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) unit in Chongqing. A source in China informed a team member, “The company is reported to have resumed operations at the unit around September 1, 2025. The plant was shut for a maintenance turnaround that began around July 6, 2025.” Located in Chongqing, China, the PET unit has a production capacity of 600,000 mt/year.
