Yisheng Petrochemical halts production at No.4 PTA plant

Yisheng Petrochemical has taken its No.4 Purified terephthalic acid (PTA) plant off stream. A source in China informed a team member, “The company is heard to have shut the plant around November 23, 2025, for maintenance. Further details on the duration of the shutdown could not be ascertained.” Located in Ningbo, Zhejiang in China, the No.4 PTA plant has a production capacity of 2.2 million mt/year.
