Yanlian Petrochemical brings No. 2 PP unit on stream

Yanlian Petrochemical Company has restarted its No. 2 polypropylene (PP) unit. A source in China informed a team member, “The company is heard to have resumed operations at the unit around October 8, 2025. The unit had been shut for maintenance on September 16, 2025. However, no official confirmation has been received from an authorized company representative.” Located in Yan’an, China, the No.2 unit has production capacity of 200,000 mt/year.
