Xinjiang Tianying to keep MEG unit off stream

Xinjiang Tianying has delayed the restart of its Monoethylene glycol (MEG) unit. A source in China informed a team member, " The company has postponed the restart of the unit to an unspecified date. The unit was shut down for maintenance on September 10, 2025, and was initially expected to restart by mid October 2025. Confirmation from an authorized source could not be obtained." Located in Xinjiang, China, the MEG unit has a production capacity of 150,000 mt/year.
