Xinjiang Guotai eyes to halt production at BDO plants

Xinjiang Guotai Xinhua Mining is likely to take off stream its butanediol (BDO) plants. A source in China informed a team member, “The company is expected to halt operations at the plant for maintenance in the second half of October 2025. However, details regarding the duration of the shutdown remain unclear, and no official confirmation could be obtained.” Located at Xinjiang in China, the No.1 and No.2 BDO plants have a combined production capacity of 200,000 mt/year.
