Wanhua Petrochemical has shut its Low density polyethene (LDPE) plant in Yantai. A source in China informed a team member, “The company is heard to have halted operations at the plant around November 16, 2025. Further details on the duration of the shutdown could not be ascertained.” Located in Yantai, Shandong in China, the plant has a production capacity of 250,000 mt/year.
