Tangshan Risun Chemical has taken its Styrene monomer (SM) plant offstream. A source in China informed a team member, “The company has shut the plant around January 20, 2026 for maintenance. Further details on the duration of the shutdown could not be ascertained.” Located in Hebei, China, the SM plant has a production capacity of 300,000 mt/year.
