Taekwang Industrial operates ACN unit at lower rates

Taekwang Industrial is presently running its Acrylonitrile (ACN) unit in Ulsan at curtailed capacity levels. A source in South Korea informed a team member, “The company has been operating the unit at around 85% of production capacity levels since September 1, 2025. The reason for the reduced operating rates remains unclear.” Located in Ulsan, South Korea, the unit has a production capacity of 290,000 mt/year.
