Indian acetic acid prices continued to rally in the week to July 30, amid persistent tight supply conditions in China and low port inventories impacting domestic prices, market sources said. CFR South Asia acetic acid up $10/metric ton week over week at $505/mt July 30, while FOB China prices were stable week over week at $395/mt over the same period. India domestic ex-tank prices surged by at least Rupees 24- 27/kg week over week in the range Rupees 84- 60/kg at Kandla and Mumbai ports amid tight supply conditions and limited port inventories, market sources said.
