Sinopec-SK Wuhan Petrochemical is likely to shut down its No.2 High density polyethylene (HDPE) unit. A source in China informed a team member, “The unit is expected to be shut for maintenance in April 2026. The exact date and duration the shutdown could not ascertained.” Located in Wuhan, Hubei province of China, the HDPE unit has a production capacity of 300,000 mt/year.
