Sinopec Yangzi Petrochemical eyes maintenance at PBR plant

Sinopec Yangzi Petrochemical is likely to take off stream its Polybutadiene rubber (PBR) plant in Jiangsu. A source in China informed a team member, “The company is in plans to halt operations at the plant by the second half of October 2025 for maintenance. The exact date and duration of the shutdown could not be ascertained.” Located in Nanjing, Jiangsu in China, the PBR plant has a production capacity of 100,000 mt/year.
